About the EK Chassis
The EK (1995-2000) was the sixth generation of the compact chassis that defined affordable performance in the JDM era. The top-spec EK9 variant packed the B16B naturally aspirated engine revving to 8,200 RPM – a figure that made it one of the highest revving production engines of its time. Light, precise, and endlessly tunable, the EK became the backbone of grassroots motorsport across Japan and beyond.
