The Diablo was built around a single philosophy – that a car should provoke a physical reaction before it even moves. A 5.7-litre V12, 492 horsepower, a top speed nudging 330 km/h, and proportions so extreme it could barely fit in a normal parking space. From 1990 to 2001, it was the benchmark every other supercar was measured against and the poster every car kid had on their bedroom wall.
This design captures the Diablo in Giallo yellow – the colour synonymous with Italian excess – on the cliff roads of the Amalfi Coast as the sun drops into the Mediterranean. Orange sky, crumbling stone guardrails, a winding road with nowhere to rush and no reason to slow down.
